Frank and crew did stucco replacement and installation, along with replacing the front steps and decking. I wish the kind of work they did, had been done on the house initially. The guys knew what they were doing and diligent about it. They did a first class job and I would use them again. My neighbor , who is in construction watched what they were doing and said he was impressed. We have a new house and we are thankful for the chance to work with them.

Frank and team really came through for us, not once but twice. We had quite a bit of stucco issues including some serous rot. Frank was very professional at every step, as were his employees seeing us through our first major set of stucco issues. He made room for us in his busy schedule to ensure whatever work that might have been needed would be repaired in time for the sale, even providing a detailed report showing how the new stucco inspection was incorrect (there was nothing wrong with our stucco), giving our buy the confidence to proceed with the purchase. It's good to know that in a world of contractors that you can never get ahold or that follow up, Frank will be there to assist you to the best of his ability (he is a busy guy). Stucco repair, sealing and painting for a 3-story townhome is a big job, but Frank and his team were total pros from the beginning. Recently hired Solid Construction to do some preventative maintenance on my stucco home, as well as paint my rot iron fencing and balcony railing. The overall experience was fantastic. We bid the project out to numerous different contractors and Solid was very competitive. What really set them apart was that the owner (Frank) was the only person to actually show up at my house and talk through the project. We had numerous conversations regarding the statement of work and Frank did a good job of advising me what items were important and which items could wait for later. He was all very good about give me price quotes for possible change orders, usually within a day or less. The project started promptly and the work the company performed was excellent. During the project, I accidently overpaid Frank by about a $100 in one of the draws. It was not a lot of money given the size of the project, but he caught it and let me know during the next draw. I would not have noticed if he had not said anything, so his honesty was not lost on me. If you are looking for a contractor who is honest and will shoot you straight, I would recommend giving Solid Construction a call.

Recently, Solid Construction completed a stucco repair and waterproofed the stucco at our home. The work was planned and supervised by Frank Solis. Frank was very easy to work with. Notably, they cleaned up the worksite each day to minimize the impact on us and our neighbors. There were no unexpected problems. Let me start by disclosing that I’m an architect with over 30 years of experience. While most companies or even architects would not be familiar with incorporating a drainage plain in to stucco construction (believe me, this is the way it should be done), I was pleasantly surprised that Frank was already familiar with the concept and was willing to incorporate this technique in to my stucco repair. You will probably not use this technique, but I’m sure Frank could do “typical” 3-coat stucco and would do it well. I recommend him to my friends.
